aspire & thrive WORKSHOP
THE ULTIMATE LEARNING DAY FOR ASPIRING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS
I’m very excited to be running my Apsire & Thrive Workshop again this January, which is aimed for those who are starting out and looking to know the foundations of becoming a professional wedding photographer or anyone wanting some fresh impetus and inspiration!
It will be upbeat, practical and full of useful, actionable learnings designed to help you reach your goal! Most of all they’ll be plenty of time to ask questions and share amongst the group.
Having created Jonny MP Photography from scratch, all whilst working in a demanding job, I understand what’s required to make the leap and what it takes to book 40-50 weddings year-on-year.
These are some of the things I’ll cover:
HOW I SHOOT
- What kit I use
- Shooting photos with feeling
- Understanding importance of light
MARKETING & BRANDING
- Why brand matters
- Creating client love
- Website and social media
HOW I WORK AT A WEDDING
- How I approach capturing moments
- The importance of relationships and trust
- Useful tips (where I have learnt the hard way!)
STEPS TO GOING PRO
- How to make the leap
- Setting goals
- Financial management
- How to be profitable
- Tax and admin

Meet your host
Jonny MP Photography
I have run Jonny MP Photography since 2011 and have shot 300 weddings all over the UK, Europe and beyond. I created Jonny MP Photography from scratch, and I made the big leap from corporate world to being a full-timephotographer, so I’ve been in your shoes and walked that journey! I know how exciting the ambition is, and equally how daunting it is! I can’t wait to teach and inspire you on your quest to fulfil your dream of being a wedding photographer and share with you everything I’ve learnt. You can be sure of lots of enthuiasm and passion from me on the day!
